CIVIL ENGINEER BUILDING

Project Manager &mdash; High‑Rise BuildingPosition summary<ul><li>Lead planning, coordination, execution and handover of high‑rise residential/commercial building projects from preconstruction through final commissioning and closeout.</li><li>Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and regulatory requirements while managing stakeholders, consultants and contractors.</li></ul>Key responsibilities<ul><li>Project planning: develop project execution plan, baseline schedule, risk register, procurement strategy and cost estimates.</li><li>Schedule &amp; cost control: create/update detailed schedules (critical path), monitor progress, produce forecasts, implement corrective actions to control schedule and budget.</li><li>Contract &amp; procurement management: prepare/issue RFPs, evaluate bids, administer contracts (GCs, subcontracts, consultants), manage change orders and claims.</li><li>Construction management: oversee site operations, coordinate trades, ensure constructability, monitor productivity, enforce quality control and commissioning plans.</li><li>Design coordination: manage design team (architects, MEP, structural), review drawings/RFIs/submittals, resolve design issues and coordinate value engineering.</li><li>Risk, compliance &amp; safety: implement risk mitigation, ensure compliance with local building codes/permitting, enforce site safety programs and QA/QC procedures.</li><li>Stakeholder &amp; client management: provide regular progress reports, manage expectations, coordinate with owners, lenders, authorities having jurisdiction and community stakeholders.</li><li>Team leadership: lead project team (engineers, site managers, planners), mentor staff, conduct performance reviews and resource planning.</li><li>Documentation &amp; closeout: maintain project documentation, prepare as-built drawings, handover packages, warranties and final accounts.</li></ul>Required experience &amp; education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>14+ years progressive construction/project management experience with minimum 7&ndash;9 years on high‑rise projects (20+ stories).</li><li>Proven experience managing large budgets, multi‑disciplinary teams, and complex MEP/structural coordination.</li></ul>Technical skills &amp; certifications<ul><li>Strong knowledge of high‑rise construction methods, sequencing, slipform/timbering/CLT/steel/RC systems as applicable.</li><li>Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), BIM coordination (Revit/Navisworks) and cost control software.</li><li>Certifications preferred: PMP, CCM, CFM, NEBOSH/OSHA 30, LEED AP or local equivalent.</li><li>Solid understanding of local building codes, fire &amp; life safety systems, fa&ccedil;ade engineering and temporary works.</li></ul>Core competencies<ul><li>Proven leadership, negotiation and contract administration skills.</li><li>Strong financial acumen and ability to manage risk and change.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, make data‑driven decisions and enforce site discipline.</li></ul>Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
