TGT Science Teacher &mdash; Ashrafia Group, DurgPositionTrained Graduate Teacher (Science)LocationAshrafia Group, Durg, ChhattisgarhReporting ToAcademic Coordinator / PrincipalKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Teaching &amp; Lesson Planning</li><li>Plan, prepare and deliver science lessons for students of Classes VI to X as per the curriculum adopted by Ashrafia Group.</li><li>Use a variety of instructional methods (lectures, practicals, demonstrations, experiments) to make the science subjects interactive and engaging.</li><li>Laboratory Work &amp; Practical Sessions</li><li>Conduct practical experiments and ensure that students understand theoretical concepts through hands-on work.</li><li>Maintain the science lab, ensuring safety protocols are followed and equipment is well-kept.</li><li>Assessment &amp; Evaluation</li><li>Develop assignments, tests, quizzes, projects, and home work to assess students&rsquo; understanding.</li><li>Evaluate students&rsquo; work timely; track performance and maintain accurate records of assessment and attendance.</li><li>Student Support &amp; Remediation</li><li>Identify students who are struggling; provide additional support or remedial classes as needed.</li><li>Mentor students for stronger understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.</li><li>Classroom Management</li><li>Maintain discipline and a positive, inclusive learning environment.</li><li>Ensure classroom rules are adhered to, and manage student behavior in line with school policy.</li><li>Curriculum Alignment &amp; Development</li><li>Align teaching plans with school curriculum, board standards (if any), and with changes / updates in syllabus or pedagogical methods.</li><li>Collaborate with other science teachers to enhance curriculum and co-curricular activities (science fairs, labs etc.).</li><li>Communication &amp; Reporting</li><li>Interact with parents during parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress, strengths and areas for improvement.</li><li>Prepare and submit periodic reports to Academic Coordinator or Principal about class performance, attendance, behavior, etc.</li><li>Professional Development</li><li>Stay updated with latest developments / best practices in science education, lab pedagogy, and teaching methods.</li><li>Participate in school training, workshops, seminars.</li><li>School Activities &amp; Extra Duties</li><li>Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, field trips, and science-related programs.</li><li>Any additional duties assigned by the school administration.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Essential</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Science subject (e.g. B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent).</li><li>Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).</li><li>Good communication skills (Hindi &amp; English preferred).</li><li>Ability to teach practical and theoretical components of Science.</li><li>Desirable</li><li>Prior experience as TGT Science teacher in a CBSE / ICSE / State Board school.</li><li>Experience in handling lab classes and experiments.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, creative teaching ability.</li><li>Comfortable with using modern teaching aids / digital tools.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Preferably 1-3 years of teaching experience at secondary level (Classes VI-X).</li><li>Freshers may be considered if they demonstrate strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;10,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
