Inside Sales &amp; Customer Engagement SpecialistHouston ASO Roofing Supply $24&ndash;$26/hour + performance bonusesAbout the RoleASO Roofing Supply is hiring a high-energy Inside Sales &amp; Customer Engagement Specialist to support and grow our customer base.This is a front-line, boots-on-the-ground role. You will be talking to contractors all day &mdash; in person, on the phone, and by text &mdash; building relationships, following up, and keeping ASO top of mind in the Houston market.This is not a receptionist or administrative position. This role is for someone who enjoys being visible, talking to people, and moving fast.What You&rsquo;ll Do: Inside Sales &amp; Front Counter (Primary)<ul><li>Greet and assist contractors confidently at the counter (Spanish &amp; English)</li><li>Answer inbound calls quickly and professionally (Spanish &amp; English)</li><li>Take orders and quotes accurately and efficiently</li><li>Assist customers with pricing, product availability, and delivery coordination</li><li>Keep transactions moving, urgency &amp; pace matters.</li></ul>Contractor Follow-Up &amp; Outreach<ul><li>Proactively follow up with contractors on quotes, orders, and availability</li><li>Communicate daily with customers via phone and text</li><li>Execute SMS outreach strategies and work with our marketing team to engage customers</li><li>Help keep ASO top-of-mind within the Houston roofing community</li></ul>Growth &amp; Improvement<ul><li>Learn roofing materials, pricing, and internal systems quickly</li><li>Use tools like ChatGPT and internal software to improve speed and communication</li><li>Look for ways to improve contractor follow-up and customer experience</li><li>Grow into a trusted, high-impact team member as the company scales</li></ul>Who We&rsquo;re Looking For Must-Haves<ul><li>Bilingual (Spanish/English)</li><li>Confident speaking with contractors in person and on the phone</li><li>High energy &mdash; talking to people energizes you</li><li>Comfortable initiating conversations and follow-ups</li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, and fast-paced</li><li>Motivated to learn, improve, and grow with the company</li></ul>Nice-to-Haves<ul><li>Inside sales or counter sales experience</li><li>Roofing, construction, or building materials exposure (not required)</li><li>Experience texting customers or using WhatsApp</li><li>Interest in using AI tools to work more efficiently</li></ul>Not a Fit If You Are<ul><li>Low energy or passive</li><li>Uncomfortable speaking with customers</li><li>Slow-paced or easily overwhelmed</li><li>Looking for a quiet or purely administrative role</li></ul>What Success Looks Like<ul><li>Contractors enjoy calling and visiting ASO</li><li>Orders and quotes are handled quickly and accurately</li><li>Customers feel followed up with and remembered</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Growth<ul><li>$24&ndash;$26/hour based on experience</li><li>Performance based bonuses</li><li>Clear path for growth and increased responsibility</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>This role requires talking to customers all day.
