About the Role

ASO Roofing Supply is hiring a high-energy Inside Sales & Customer Engagement Specialist to support and grow our customer base.

This is a front-line, boots-on-the-ground role. You will be talking to contractors all day — in person, on the phone, and by text — building relationships, following up, and keeping ASO top of mind in the Houston market.

This is not a receptionist or administrative position.
This role is for someone who enjoys being visible, talking to people, and moving fast.

What You’ll Do: Inside Sales & Front Counter (Primary)

Greet and assist contractors confidently at the counter (Spanish & English)
Answer inbound calls quickly and professionally (Spanish & English)
Take orders and quotes accurately and efficiently
Assist customers with pricing, product availability, and delivery coordination
Keep transactions moving, urgency & pace matters.

Contractor Follow-Up & Outreach

Proactively follow up with contractors on quotes, orders, and availability
Communicate daily with customers via phone and text
Execute SMS outreach strategies and work with our marketing team to engage customers
Help keep ASO top-of-mind within the Houston roofing community

Growth & Improvement

Learn roofing materials, pricing, and internal systems quickly
Use tools like ChatGPT and internal software to improve speed and communication
Look for ways to improve contractor follow-up and customer experience
Grow into a trusted, high-impact team member as the company scales

Who We’re Looking For Must-Haves

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Confident speaking with contractors in person and on the phone
High energy — talking to people energizes you
Comfortable initiating conversations and follow-ups
Organized, detail-oriented, and fast-paced
Motivated to learn, improve, and grow with the company

Nice-to-Haves

Inside sales or counter sales experience
Roofing, construction, or building materials exposure (not required)
Experience texting customers or using WhatsApp
Interest in using AI tools to work more efficiently

Low energy or passive
Uncomfortable speaking with customers
Slow-paced or easily overwhelmed
Looking for a quiet or purely administrative role

$24–$26/hour based on experience
