The Product Innovation Engineer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new products or enhancing existing ones to meet customer needs and market demands. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&amp;D, design, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure the successful implementation of innovative solutions. The engineer is expected to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation. 
 
Essential Functions
Product Development<ul><li>
Lead the ideation, design, and development of new products or product features from concept to launch</li><li>
Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify opportunities for innovation</li><li>
Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed product designs and prototypes</li><li>
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize production processes</li></ul>
Innovation and Research<ul><li>
Explore and integrate new technologies, materials, and processes to enhance product performance and customer experience</li><li>
Collaborate with R&amp;D teams to experiment with new ideas, conduct testing, and refine product concepts</li><li>
Analyze industry trends and competitive products to inform the innovation strategy</li></ul>
Project Management<ul><li>
Manage product innovation projects, including setting timelines, budgets, and milestones</li><li>
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope</li><li>
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and challenges</li></ul>
Quality Assurance<ul><li>
Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements</li><li>
Participate in testing and validation processes to verify product performance and reliability</li><li>
Identify and address potential risks in the design and development stages</li></ul>
Customer Focus<ul><li>
Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points</li><li>
Translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements and innovations</li><li>
Support the marketing and sales teams in communicating product benefits and features to customers</li><li>
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company&rsquo;s core values, competencies, and skills.</li></ul>
Education Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Innovation Management, or a related field is required</li></ul> 
Experience Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and other advanced manufacturing technologies is preferred</li></ul> 
Skills and Abilities<ul><li>
Proven experience in product development and innovation, preferably in a related industry</li><li>
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools</li><li>
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset</li><li>
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>
Good communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams</li><li>
Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies</li></ul> 
Licenses and Certifications<ul><li>
Valid driver's license is required</li></ul> 
Working Conditions/Physical Demands<ul><li>
Ability to pass a drug test</li></ul>
