Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<ul><li>Moving merchandise using heavy equipment</li>
<li>Stocking shelves and displays, rotating stock, and repairing labels</li>
<li>Cleaning shelves and fronting merchandise</li>
<li>Operating a cardboard bailer and pallet jacks</li>
<li>Emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms</li>
<li>Maintaining hard floors and spot cleaning carpets</li>
<li>Cleaning the meat market area</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Education and Experience: No formal education or experience required. Six months of prior successful employment or related experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED is a plus.</li>
<li>Language Skills: Ability to read and recognize simple words and numbers. Capability to print and speak simple sentences.</li>
<li>Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out simple instructions. Manage standardized situations with minimal variables.</li>
<li>Certificates and Licenses: Insured vehicle and a valid Alaska driver's license (with no or low points). Provide a driving record, proof of insurance at hire. Stocker Janitor

<div>**This is an on-site janitorial position. You must be a resident of Alaska to be considered for this position**

This contract is a 24/7 operation, supervisor will discuss scheduling during interview. Please be sure to include your availability! Full-time 30-40/wk, $19.75 per/hr.

Requirements for this position include: ability to obtain State of Alaska and airport background clearance, prior janitorial experience including knowledge of chemicals, cleaning procedures, duties, and janitorial equipment.

Full Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>
<div><ul><li>Monitors service delivery and ensures that all daily and periodic tasks are completed as scheduled and according to specified quality standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists Project Manager with ordering/purchasing supplies. Monitors the supply and equipment use at the site.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provides supervision, guidance and training to frontline workers according to the organization&rsquo;s policies, identified procedures and applicable laws.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists the Project Manager with the coordination of the Supported Employment and Ability One programs. This includes, but is not limited to:</li></ul>
</div><ul><li>Participates in individual support plan meetings, implements plans and documents individual's training progress.</li>
<li>Provides assistance to contract site team in case management, data collection and Individual Support Treatment Plan (ISPT) development.</li>
<li>Ensures site documentation, practices and support services comply with Medicaid standards and adhere to individual support plans (ISP).</li>
<li>Communicates with job coaches, case managers and guardians/care providers.</li>
<li>Works with and provides support to individuals with mental illness or developmental disabilities.</li>
<li>Ensures transportation for employees as required.</li>
<li>Conducts and reports time studies.</li>

<ul><li>Maintains regular, consistent and open communications with the Project Manager about the well being of the contract site, site challenges or concerns, suggestions, customer complaints, employee issues, etc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develops and maintains pro-active and assistive relationships with the customer, Assets management, site employees and served individuals and their family members.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Completes all trainings required for this position. Actively participates in required site and company meetings.</li></ul>
<ul><li>May be required to work at multiple designated work sites or may be reassigned as needed to other contract work sites.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Works a varied schedule, to include work outside of normal week hours.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists in or individually de-escalates verbally or physically aggressive individuals according to identified procedures and individual client protocols.</li></ul>

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides supervision, mentoring and training to frontline workers employed at the contract site. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ensures a safe, secure and comfortable work environment for employees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

<li>Assisting Project Manager with interviewing and hiring</li>
<li>Providing orientation/on-the-job training to new staff and monitoring on-going individual and team training needs</li>
<li>Planning, assigning, and directing work. Ensuring employees remain on-task.</li>

</ul><ul><li>Conducting time studies/performance measurements</li>
