We are a well-established retail area rug store seeking an outgoing and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working face-to-face with customers, providing personalized service, and helping clients find the perfect rug for their homes.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deliver exceptional in-store customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience</li><li>Assist customers in selecting rugs based on their needs and preferences</li><li>Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records</li><li>Support daily store operations, such as maintaining an organized showroom</li><li>Utilize basic computer skills for sales, customer information, and inventory tracking</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous retail or sales experience preferred</li><li>Strong communication skills with excellent English proficiency</li><li>Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday</li><li>Approximately 10:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM</li><li>Closed Wednesdays and Sundays</li><li>Saturdays and most holidays required</li></ul>About Us: We are a family-oriented business that has proudly served our community since 1979, offering friendly, personalized service in a unique 15,000 square foot warehouse showroom near Hayvenhurst and Saticoy, across from the Van Nuys Airport.
