Retail Warehouse Customer Service

We are a well-established retail area rug store seeking an outgoing and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working face-to-face with customers, providing personalized service, and helping clients find the perfect rug for their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional in-store customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting rugs based on their needs and preferences
• Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
• Support daily store operations, such as maintaining an organized showroom
• Utilize basic computer skills for sales, customer information, and inventory tracking
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with excellent English proficiency
• Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Approximately 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Closed Wednesdays and Sundays
• Saturdays and most holidays required
