In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through hands-on work with lawn care, planting, pruning, and landscape maintenance. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about gardening, landscaping, and outdoor work who want to make a positive impact in their community.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to keep lawns healthy and vibrant</li><li>Use hand tools and power tools for landscape installation, planting, pruning, and maintenance tasks</li><li>Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows when necessary for seasonal tasks</li><li>Maintain garden beds by weeding, mulching, planting flowers or shrubs, and caring for trees</li><li>Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscapes</li><li>Conduct landscape clean-up activities including debris removal, leaf raking, and snow plowing during winter months</li><li>Support hardscape projects such as walkway or patio installation using appropriate tools and techniques</li><li>Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards and best practices</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience or knowledge in landscaping, horticulture or gardening preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems</li><li>Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory</li><li>Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming and health assessment</li><li>Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions safely and efficiently</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude</li></ul>Join us if you're ready to cultivate beautiful landscapes while developing your skills in landscaping, construction, tree care, and outdoor maintenance.
