Part Time Landscaper

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Use hand tools and power tools for landscape installation, planting, pruning, and maintenance tasks
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows when necessary for seasonal tasks
• Maintain garden beds by weeding, mulching, planting flowers or shrubs, and caring for trees
• Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Conduct landscape clean-up activities including debris removal, leaf raking, and snow plowing during winter months
• Support hardscape projects such as walkway or patio installation using appropriate tools and techniques
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards and best practices

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in landscaping, horticulture or gardening preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming and health assessment
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions safely and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
