We are committed to creating a positive environment that recognizes your contributions and supports your growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts.</li><li>Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals.</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.</li><li>Administer medications following prescribed schedules and maintain detailed medication administration records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care techniques and personalized care plans.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.</li><li>Document care activities diligently, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.</li><li>Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing skills including CPR and first aid certification.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medication administration protocols, and documentation standards.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist clients with mobility using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with autism, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support while respecting client dignity and independence.</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed for comprehensive care delivery.
