 Our partner are looking for a (mechanical focussed)
 
 Senior Environmental Test Engineer
 
 to join their team.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The role:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assess test feasibility during early program phases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain both short-term and long-term environmental test plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and update SOPs and process documentation for test equipment operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage readiness, calibration, and maintenance of test facilities and equipment, including vibration tables, TVAC chambers, thermal systems, and EMC/EMI setups.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare hardware, instrumentation, facility configurations, and DAQ systems ahead of test campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the execution of Vibration, Thermal, TVAC, and EMC/EMI tests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise test technicians, ensuring adherence to procedures and configuration control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze test data and produce qualification and acceptance reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Assembly, Integration &amp; Test teams, QA, and external vendors on environmental test matters.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience in satellite environmental testing, including Vibration, TVAC, Thermal, and EMC/EMI.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform feasibility assessments and develop long-term test plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of instrumentation, DAQ systems, and test setups.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to produce SOPs, process documentation, and procedural guidance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with relevant test standards (e.g., GEVS, MIL-STD-1540, ECSS).
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent analytical skills for interpreting test data and generating reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing equipment maintenance and calibration programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong cross-functional communication skills and disciplined approach to documentation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 This role will require relocation (paid for) to the UAE, and offers an excellent overall compensation and benefits package.
