Avenger Flight Group (AFG)

Schedule: 25&ndash;30 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break) 
Compensation: $15&ndash;$18/hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Avenger Flight Group is seeking motivated interns to join our Simulator Maintenance Department. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical technical and organizational experience in a fast-paced aviation training environment. Ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing careers in aviation technology, systems engineering, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and minor maintenance of flight simulators
</li>
<li>Assist with corrective maintenance, hardware modifications, and refurbishment activities
</li>
<li>Support daily simulator operations including pre-flight and post-flight checks
</li>
<li>Accurately record maintenance tasks
</li>
<li>Interact with customers and flight crews professionally to ensure satisfaction
</li>
</ul>Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a college or technical program in Aviation, Avionics, Engineering, or a related discipline
</li>
<li>Basic understanding of aircraft systems, avionics, or navigation concepts
</li>
<li>Comfortable using hand tools and basic diagnostic/test equipment
</li>
<li>Strong technical aptitude with solid computer skills
</li>
<li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
</li>
<li>Physically able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
</li>
<li>Must have legal right to work; company is not able to sponsor visas
</li>
<li>Must reside locally or have reliable transportation to the facility
</li>
<li>Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
</li>
