Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assitant to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of our paralegal team and will provide administrative and organizational support to lawyers and management.Core responsibilities are: l assisting with managing attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, court dates, and depositions, serving as the first point of contact for clients, answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors, organizing and maintaining both physical and electronic case files, records, and internal legal libraries. formatting, and proofreading basic legal documents such as correspondence, memos, and simple pleadings, assisting with filing of legal documents (briefs, motions, etc.) with state and federal courts, often using e-filing systems, assisting with billing and time tracking, assisting with preparing trial exhibits, witness binders, and taking notes during proceedings or meetings.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
