Senior Accountant &ndash; Dubai (Full Time)Company: AZIZ POOR TRADING CO (L.L.C) &ndash; Dubai Industry: Trading / FMCG / Tobacco Distribution Location: Dubai &ndash; UAE Availability: Immediate preferredJob OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong UAE background to manage the full spectrum of accounting, VAT compliance, inventory control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage full accounting cycle (GL, AR, AP, Bank, Inventory).</li><li>Prepare monthly P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.</li><li>Handle VAT Input/Output, filing through FTA portal, and reconciliation.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory accounting (FIFO/Weighted Average).</li><li>Perform COGS calculation and stock adjustments.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.</li><li>Prepare payment schedules, vendor aging, and receivables aging.</li><li>Monitor credit limits for distributors/wholesalers.</li><li>Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.</li><li>Manage import documentation: invoices, BL, packing list, GRN.</li><li>Support management with budgeting and cost analysis.</li><li>Ensure accounting records follow IFRS and internal policies.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting/Finance (mandatory).</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;7 years UAE experience as Senior Accountant.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA procedures.</li><li>Experience in Trading/FMCG (experience in tobacco is a plus).</li><li>Proficient in ERP systems (Tally ERP / SAP B1).</li><li>Excellent skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, reports).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience handling import/export documentation.</li><li>Knowledge of aging analysis and credit control.</li><li>Experience in warehouse reconciliation.</li><li>Understanding of Corporate Tax requirements.</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates may send their CV to: info@azizpoor.com with subject line: &ldquo;Senior Accountant &ndash; Application&rdquo;Job Types: Full-time, PermanentExperience:<ul><li>Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
