Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong UAE background to manage the full spectrum of accounting, VAT compliance, inventory control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle (GL, AR, AP, Bank, Inventory).
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.
• Handle VAT Input/Output, filing through FTA portal, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting (FIFO/Weighted Average).
• Perform COGS calculation and stock adjustments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
• Prepare payment schedules, vendor aging, and receivables aging.
• Monitor credit limits for distributors/wholesalers.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Manage import documentation: invoices, BL, packing list, GRN.
• Support management with budgeting and cost analysis.
• Ensure accounting records follow IFRS and internal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (mandatory).
• Minimum 5–7 years UAE experience as Senior Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA procedures.
• Experience in Trading/FMCG (experience in tobacco is a plus).
• Proficient in ERP systems (Tally ERP / SAP B1).
• Excellent skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, reports).
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling import/export documentation.
• Knowledge of aging analysis and credit control.
• Experience in warehouse reconciliation.
• Understanding of Corporate Tax requirements.
