Job SummaryB &amp; D Landscaping is looking to hire a motivated and organized Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and multitasking skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently.This position plays an important role in maintaining office efficiency, supporting customers and employees, and assisting with bookkeeping, scheduling, and marketing tasks.Responsibilities<ul><li>Schedule appointments and maintain the owner&rsquo;s calendar</li><li>Answer office phone calls and respond to website/email inquiries</li><li>Prepare communications including memos, emails, invoices, reports, and correspondence</li><li>Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable</li><li>Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate payment records</li><li>Assist with bookkeeping duties and financial record keeping</li><li>Collate and distribute mail, including customer payments/checks</li><li>Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical</li><li>Update and review customer contracts</li><li>Assist with Human Resources duties including employee records, job postings, interview coordination, and communication with applicants</li><li>Maintain office inventory</li><li>Social media marketing and website updates</li><li>Weekly Facebook marketing posts</li><li>1&ndash;3 weekly posts on Instagram and Facebook</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality</li><li>Handle various administrative assignments as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous successful experience in an office environment preferred</li><li>Accounts Payable experience required</li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google applications</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities</li><li>Ability to take initiative and think critically</li><li>Ability to work effectively with customers and team members</li><li>QuickBooks experience preferred but not required</li><li>Marketing/social media experience</li></ul>Position Details<ul><li>30 - 40 hours per week</li><li>12-month position (260 days)</li></ul>If you are dependable, organized, and looking to join a supportive team environment, we would love to hear from you!Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
