Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dependable 26ft Box Truck Driver to join our team for both local and over-the-road (OTR) deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers who thrive on variety, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in delivering excellence.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate a 26-foot box truck across local routes and OTR assignments, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies</li><li>Deliver goods to customers promptly, providing excellent customer service through professional communication and a positive attitude</li><li>Manage route driving with precision, adjusting plans as needed to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards</li><li>Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery records</li><li>Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, utilizing load straps or other securing devices</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; experience with &lt;PERSON&gt; driver or courier roles preferred</li><li>Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on customer service and route management</li><li>Ability to operate a box truck with manual transmission confidently</li><li>Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus</li><li>Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and handling cargo repeatedly throughout shifts</li><li>Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols, traffic laws, and route planning strategies</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re ready to hit the road with energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
