We are seeking a dynamic and dependable 26ft Box Truck Driver to join our team for both local and over-the-road (OTR) deliveries. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional delivery of goods. Duties

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck across local routes and OTR assignments, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies
• Deliver goods to customers promptly, providing excellent customer service through professional communication and a positive attitude
• Manage route driving with precision, adjusting plans as needed to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery records
• Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, utilizing load straps or other securing devices

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or courier roles preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on customer service and route management
• Ability to operate a box truck with manual transmission confidently
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and handling cargo repeatedly throughout shifts
• Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols, traffic laws, and route planning strategies
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
