Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook/Stock! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are prepared, organized, and stocked efficiently to support smooth meal service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills, gain valuable kitchen experience, and contribute to a vibrant food service operation committed to excellence.Duties and Qualifications<ul><li>Label and stock ingredients on shelves</li><li>Measuring and preparing ingredients and food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.</li><li>Stock kitchen supplies, ingredients, and utensils, maintaining organized storage areas for easy access.</li><li>Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.</li><li>Support cooking activities by assisting cooks with meal preparation</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts. Sweeping, mopping are also required. Dishes required (as needed).</li><li>Help with food service operations by setting up stations, serving meals when needed, and ensuring timely delivery of meals</li><li>Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading and delivering (driving not required)</li><li>Inventory</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Kitchen experience in restaurants or the food industry is preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety standards is essential.</li><li>Measure ingredients and seasonings, measuring food portions by scoop</li><li>Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking methods enhances your fit for this role.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A positive attitude with a passion for culinary arts</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health regulations consistently.
