Duties and Qualifications

• Label and stock ingredients on shelves
• Measuring and preparing ingredients and food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Stock kitchen supplies, ingredients, and utensils, maintaining organized storage areas for easy access.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Support cooking activities by assisting cooks with meal preparation
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts. Sweeping, mopping are also required. Dishes required (as needed).
• Help with food service operations by setting up stations, serving meals when needed, and ensuring timely delivery of meals
• Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading and delivering (driving not required)
• Inventory
• Basic math skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Kitchen experience in restaurants or the food industry is preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety standards is essential.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings, measuring food portions by scoop
• Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking methods enhances your fit for this role.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
