Bookkeeper (Part-Time, In-Person) Babinec Sheet Metal &ndash; Rahway, NJAbout Us: Babinec Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated business seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. We are looking for someone who values accuracy, organization, and consistency, and who can manage day-to-day financial operations in a hands-on, in-office environment.Position Overview: This is a Part-time, in-person position responsible for managing the company&rsquo;s bookkeeping, payroll, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks and Intuit payroll systems and be comfortable handling a variety of financial and administrative responsibilities.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM &ndash; 3:30 PM (In-person position)Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping</li><li>Process payroll and maintain payroll records using QuickBooks/Intuit</li><li>Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Prepare and send invoices; track incoming payments</li><li>Monitor and track company expenses</li><li>Perform bank and account reconciliations</li><li>Maintain organized and accurate financial records</li><li>Assist with basic human resources functions, including employee records and benefits administration</li><li>Handling weekly investments for 401K plan</li><li>Filing with EFTPS for 401K participants who opt out</li><li>Generate financial reports as needed for ownership</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Required: Experience with QuickBooks and/or Intuit payroll systems</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience</li><li>Strong understanding of payroll processing and recordkeeping</li><li>Experience with invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliations</li><li>Familiarity with basic HR functions is a plus</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>Support day-to-day office operations, including procurement of office supplies and coordination of periodic staff events and holiday gatherings.</li><li>Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information</li></ul>Compensation: Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.Work Location: Rahway, NJ (In-person required)Work Location: In person
