Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organisation&rsquo;s financial health. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing complex accounting tasks, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining accurate financial reporting.Job Responsibilities &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Prepare, analyse, and review financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards.</li><li>Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.</li><li>Utilise various accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other financial management tools to maintain precise records.</li><li>Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and statutory requirements.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing detailed financial analysis.</li><li>Assist with internal audits and coordinate external audit processes as required.</li><li>Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development within the team.</li><li>Ensure adherence to organisational policies regarding financial controls and reporting procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organisational growth initiatives through accurate financial insights.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience in GST Returns applicable to Jewellery Industry</li></ul>(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, E-Way Bills, HSN compliance)<ul><li>Complete knowledge of TDS Filing &amp; Statutory Compliance</li><li>Expertise in Stock Accounting, including:</li><li>Gold, Diamond &amp; Jewellery Inventory</li><li>Karat-wise &amp; purity-wise reconciliation</li><li>Job work accounting &amp; wastage tracking</li><li>Experience in Finalization of Accounts, P&amp;L, Balance Sheet</li><li>Coordination with Auditors, GST Consultants &amp; Tax Authorities</li><li>Understanding of Retail Showroom &amp; Manufacturing Accounts</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow in Financial Analytics &amp; MIS Reporting</li><li>Strong analytical mindset and long-term career vision</li></ul>Future Growth &amp; Learning:<ul><li>Training and exposure in Financial Analytics &amp; Business Reporting</li><li>Involvement in MIS, Costing &amp; Margin Analysis</li><li>Long-term stability with career progression</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven expertise in financial accounting and management within a corporate environment.</li><li>Extensive experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, zoho ,PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance standards.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Demonstrated mentoring abilities to support the development of junior team members.</li><li>Proficiency in accounts payable processes and general ledger management.</li><li>Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with internal teams and external auditors.
