This position works directly with providers, nurses, and coordinators to prepare patients for visits, assist during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure clinical documentation is accurate and complete.This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to remain calm and professional when schedules change. Prior fertility clinic experience is required.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Perform venipuncture and assist with lab-related clinical tasks</li><li>Administer injections as directed by providers</li><li>Assist physicians during procedures including ultrasounds, IUIs, saline infusion sonograms, office hysteroscopy, and egg retrieval-related procedures</li><li>Take and document patient vital signs</li><li>Prepare patients for appointments and procedures</li><li>Room patients efficiently and help maintain provider flow throughout the day</li><li>Prepare, clean, stock, and turn over exam and procedure rooms</li><li>Gather new patient intake information and confirm required documentation is complete</li><li>Communicate schedule updates or patient-flow issues to providers and team members</li><li>Provide patients with clear instructions related to their treatment plan</li><li>Accurately relay patient messages and return phone calls as appropriate</li><li>Assist with stimulation sheet documentation and scheduling updates</li><li>Support clerical and clinical tasks needed for smooth daily operations</li><li>Anticipate provider needs and assist proactively during clinic sessions</li><li>Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion in all patient interactions</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fertility clinic, IVF clinic, or IUI/IVF practice setting</li><li>Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within one month of hire</li><li>Strong phlebotomy skills and comfort performing frequent blood draws</li><li>Ability to work in a busy clinical environment with changing priorities</li><li>Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation habits</li><li>Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and composure</li><li>Dependable, organized, and team-oriented</li></ul>Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate has hands-on fertility experience and understands that fertility care is both medically detailed and emotionally sensitive.
