Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GNM/ANM Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through proactive nursing interventions and compassionate service.Duties<ul><li>Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth.</li><li>Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and manage catheter care following sterile techniques and aseptic procedures.</li><li>Assist with diagnostic evaluations like blood draws (phlebotomy), specimen collection, and processing to support accurate diagnosis.</li><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; conditions closely in acute care environments such as ICU or emergency medicine units, ensuring timely response to changes in status.</li><li>Provide specialized care for vulnerable populations including geriatrics, dementia patients, neonatal ventilator management, pediatric care, and individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards like ICD-10 and CPT coding.</li><li>Support infection control protocols, wound suturing, airway management, and use of advanced medical equipment such as ventilators or cardiac catheters when necessary.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid GNM (General Nursing &amp; Midwifery) or ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) certification from an accredited institution.</li><li>Proven experience in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; experience with Level II trauma centers is a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical records management.</li><li>Hands-on experience administering injections, IV insertion/infusion, phlebotomy, catheterization, and sterile processing procedures.</li><li>Familiarity with specialized areas including dialysis, long-term care facilities, assisted living environments, pediatric units (PICU), neonatal units (neonatal ventilator), or behavioral health settings is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including seniors, children, individuals with disabilities or dementia.</li><li>Excellent communication skills coupled with team management experience to supervise junior staff when needed.</li><li>Knowledge of infection control practices and adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA standards.
