Seeking full-time Legal Secretary at busy law office specializing in civil litigation. Applicants must be prepared to work well under pressure, in a deadline-driven environment. Typing test proof is required (minimum of 65 words per minute preferred). This position is based in-office and is not available on a remote basis.Position Duties Include:<ul><li>Typing and dictation transcription;</li><li>Preparation of legal documents;</li><li>Arranging for the proper service of legal documents;</li><li>Organization and maintenance of client files, both paper and electronic;</li><li>Calendaring and scheduling, both paper and electronic; and</li><li>Professional and courteous telephone skills.</li></ul>Preferred Position Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum of high school degree (or equivalent);</li><li>Legal secretary experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate;</li><li>Proficiency with Windows based software programs (Word, Excel) required;</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency with Citrix (ShareFile) a plus;</li><li>Ability to interact professionally with co-workers;</li><li>Willing to follow specific instructions provided by attorneys and staff;</li><li>Multi-tasking capabilities;</li><li>Available for occasional overtime work;</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Competitive wage based on experience; and</li><li>Benefits package.</li></ul>Work Remotely:<ul><li>No</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
