We operate a busy robot testing lab, maintain one of the largest selections of used FANUC &amp; KUKA robots in the U.S., and run a fast-growing e-commerce platform for spare parts, risers, rails, and accessories.We&rsquo;re expanding fast and need a dedicated Social Media &amp; Digital Marketing Specialist to help tell our story, grow our audience, and drive real business results.Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly creative, organized, and hands-on Social Media &amp; Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of Ballard&rsquo;s social channels, content creation, and day-to-day digital marketing activities.This role is perfect for someone who loves creating content, understands B2B manufacturing/industrial audiences, and enjoys the pace of a high-growth entrepreneurial business. You&rsquo;ll be working directly with leadership, sales, and our lab team to highlight new robot arrivals, parts, projects, and behind-the-scenes footage.Key Responsibilities Social Media Content Creation &amp; Management<ul><li>Plan, create, and publish daily LinkedIn posts featuring new robot arrivals, other inventory, new departures, testing videos, customer stories, educational content, and more.</li><li>Capture and edit photos/videos in our Pontiac facility (robot testing, risers, rails, accessories, shop activity).</li><li>Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.</li><li>Build and manage a monthly content calendar.</li></ul>Digital Marketing Support<ul><li>Assist with product content for our e-commerce site (titles, descriptions, photos, SEO basics).</li><li>Write short-form content for email newsletters and inventory announcements.</li><li>Optimize social posts using best practices for reach, engagement, and link clicks.</li></ul>Analytics &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Track performance inside GA4, LinkedIn Analytics, and marketing dashboards.</li><li>Provide weekly summaries on what content performed best and why.</li><li>Continuously test new content formats, hashtags, CTAs, and posting times.</li></ul>Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with sales to highlight high-value robots, systems, and parts.</li><li>Coordinate with our robot lab, warehouse, and operations teams to gather real-time updates.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For - Required<ul><li>Experience managing social media channels for a business (LinkedIn experience strongly preferred).</li><li>Ability to create engaging content fast&mdash;photos, videos, graphics, captions.</li><li>Comfortable using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar.</li><li>Strong writing skills with an eye for clarity and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to be on-site regularly to capture footage in our lab/warehouse.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience in industrial, manufacturing, robotics, machining, or B2B markets.</li><li>Basic understanding of SEO, GA4, and WooCommerce/Shopify-type platforms.</li><li>Photography or light video editing experience.</li><li>Familiarity with automation or engineering terminology (FANUC, KUKA, rails, risers, servo amps, etc.)</li></ul>Personality FitYou&rsquo;ll thrive here if you:<ul><li>Love learning technical things and turning them into simple content.</li><li>Are proactive &mdash; you don&rsquo;t wait for someone to tell you what to post.</li><li>Can walk through the warehouse, see something interesting, and instantly think,</li></ul>&ldquo;This would make a great post.&rdquo;<ul><li>Enjoy fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.</li><li>Want to grow with a company whose brand and digital presence are scaling quickly.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive pay (DOE)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision benefits</li><li>PTO + holidays</li><li>Opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics and automation equipment</li><li>Career growth into higher-level digital marketing roles</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
