 Plans, develops, enhances and updates the Bank&rsquo;s IT infrastructure in terms of systems and communications in order to meet changing business requirements and avoiding disruption to Bank&rsquo;s operations due to unavailability of IT facilities.

 Manage the administration and maintenance of the infrastructure environment in order to ensure high reliability, integrity, accuracy, safety and availability of data

 Support MDM solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Support database and application teams' task initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support on backup solution and optimization
 </li>
 <li>
 Support for testing and developing infrastructure environments, which includes various domain like Windows, Linux, storage etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain suitable levels of integration among systems and data redundancy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the administration and maintenance of the infrastructure environment in order to ensure high reliability, integrity, accuracy, safety and availability of data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously keep updated about Bank Nizwa IT environment including on premise and third-party applications and various connectivity
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend meetings requiring IT inputs for new initiatives or resolving any specific issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend to various audits and security testing of the applications managed by the Channels and Digital team
 </li>
 <li>
 Closure of audit findings and security observations within agreed timelines.
 </li>

 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 
 
 
 To monitor, prevent, detect, and in internal and external fraud incidents across all banking channels and to take corrective action.
 
 
 Job involves analyzing real-time and post transaction data to identify fraud patterns across cards, bank accounts, digital channels, coordinating with stakeholders to mitigate fraud risk and regulatory reporting.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Monitor system generated alerts, take preventive measures to safeguard customers&rsquo; and bank&rsquo;s interest
 </li>
 <li>
 Detect unusual transactions and events, confirm genuineness with customers and take appropriate action
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct detailed transaction analysis and prepare investigation reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in filing reports, STR, SAR with CBO, ROP, Card schemes and senior management
 </li>
 <li>
 Support developing and testing of fraud scenarios and conduct UAT
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and closure of incidents with a logical conclusion
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain comprehensive fraud trackers
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with stakeholders to initiate recovery on losses identified or reported to the bank
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle transaction verification requests received from peer banks and respond on a timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist customers with dispute process and educate them on how to safeguard their sensitive banking credentials
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor suspicious merchant activities and investigate
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle card schemes alert on potential data leakage, BIN attacks
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle ROP, CBO, FIU and peer banks&rsquo; queries related to fraud
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Manager in investigations
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to operate in shifts and holidays
 </li>

 Education Level

 Essential: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a similar one
 </li>
 <li>
 Preferred: Certificate in Financial Crimes / Banking Fraud
