Job Purpose
To ensure efficient processing, monitoring, and settlement of Treasury and Investment transactions, with a strong focus on investment activities, portfolio monitoring, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Main Tasks & Accountabilities

Process and monitor Treasury and Investment transactions including FX, Money Market, Sukuk, Equities, and other investment products.

Handle end-to-end settlement of investment deals (Sukuk, equities, funds, IPOs, structured deals) through SWIFT, custodians, and payment systems.

Handling IPO subscriptions, fund investments, and structured investment transactions.

Prepare and update reports related to investment portfolio, positions, MTM, and operational MIS.

Ensure timely settlement of treasury deals and payments through SWIFT, RTGS, ACH and other payment channels.

Perform daily reconciliation of Nostro accounts and investment positions; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Monitor investment portfolio movements including MTM (Mark-to-Market), revaluation, and pricing updates.

Coordinate with custodians (e.g., Euroclear) for settlement, corporate actions, and custody-related activities.

Verify deal details and ensure proper matching of confirmations with counterparties and correspondent banks.

Ensure all investment and treasury transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with internal policies, CBO regulations, and Sharia guidelines.

Monitor cash flows related to investment activities and ensure timely funding and settlement.

Investigate and resolve settlement breaks, failed trades, and operational and system enhancements related to investment operations.

Participate in UAT testing for new systems or enhancements related to treasury and investment modules.

Coordinate with Treasury Front Office, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to ensure smooth investment operations.

Perform any other duties assigned by the unit head.
Education Level – Minimum
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Professional Qualifications/ Mandatory Licenses
Professional banking or treasury related certifications are an advantage.
Work Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in Treasury / Investment Operations
