Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure that parts meet strict specifications and quality standards.Responsibilities<ul><li>Interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise machined parts.</li><li>Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and ensure quality control.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.</li><li>Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for various machining tasks.</li><li>Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling power tools, hand tools, and other machinery.</li><li>Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing machining processes for efficiency and waste reduction.</li><li>Assist in assembly operations when required, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and finished according to specifications.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Skilled in reading complex blueprints and applying GD&amp;T principles accurately.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), welding techniques, and plastics injection molding processes.</li><li>Familiarity with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).</li><li>Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine offsets.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency.
