The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our practice by providing top-notch care, educating patients on oral health, and providing an excellent patient experience. Dental assisting experience is preferred.Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-3pmResponsibilities:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to, fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, and root canals.- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment. Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.- Perform digital intraoral scans.- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns. Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after dental treatments.- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols and procedures.- Schedule patient appointments, complete documentation, and manage patient records accurately.- Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as billing and inventory management.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Experience as a dental assistant is preferred.- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix) is preferred.- Strong understanding of medical imaging for diagnostic purposes and infection control standards.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
