Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and compassionate full-time Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our practice by providing top-notch care, educating patients on oral health, and providing an excellent patient experience. Dental assisting experience is preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-3pm

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to, fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, and root canals.

- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment. Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.

- Perform digital intraoral scans.

- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns. Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.

- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after dental treatments.

- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.

- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols and procedures.

- Schedule patient appointments, complete documentation, and manage patient records accurately.

- Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as billing and inventory management.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Experience as a dental assistant is preferred.

- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix) is preferred.

- Strong understanding of medical imaging for diagnostic purposes and infection control standards.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
