Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and professional Check-Out Receptionist to join our team. Receptionist is responsible for scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-pays, sending clinical summaries, collecting outstanding balances, and ensuring all paperwork is properly processed all while providing friendly and efficient service.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.</li><li>Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and responding to inquiries with professionalism.</li><li>Schedule appointments and manage the clinic&rsquo;s calendar efficiently.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Perform insurance verification and assist with medical billing processes.</li><li>Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including care plans and medical records.</li><li>Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and Dentrix to manage patient information effectively.</li><li>Handle clerical tasks including filing, typing, and data entry with attention to detail.</li><li>Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed, ensuring smooth office operations.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of reports related to patient services and office management.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.</li><li>Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient service excellence.</li><li>Experience with health information management and understanding of Medicare processes is advantageous.
