 Senior Import Specialist
 
 to join our growing organization.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensuring the continuity of international supplier research, selection, and evaluation processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organizing and closely monitoring customs, logistics, and product safety procedures from the initial overseas order until the goods enter the warehouse.
 </li>
 <li>
 Staying up-to-date with current legislation regarding international procurement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contacting suppliers for required purchases, collecting quotations, and conducting evaluations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing contracts for materials, equipment, and services to be purchased.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting research for alternative suppliers and sub-industry partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Planning and performing supplier/sub-industry audits and inspections when necessary; reporting audit results and initiating corrective actions.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related fields,
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid knowledge of import legislation and Incoterms,
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive, HVAC, or white goods industries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in customs and logistics operations is a plus,
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MS Office and SAP,
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced level of written and verbal communication in English.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced negotiation and bargaining skills.
 </li>
