This role supports high-volume cash processing, deposits, and operational accounting workflows in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. The position focuses on cash application, deposit processing, and administrative accounting functions, with the opportunity to expand into accounts payable and additional accounting responsibilities based on performance.</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h1><ul><li>Process incoming mail and coordinate distribution</li><li>Prepare and process check deposits across multiple accounts</li><li>Perform cash receipts and lockbox processing</li><li>Run, export, and archive transaction reports and check images</li><li>Reconcile and track deposits across entities</li><li>Post deposit and ACH activity into accounting systems</li><li>Support accounts payable including invoice processing and payments</li><li>Process outgoing payments (check, FedEx, standard mail)</li><li>Perform bank and client account reconciliations</li><li>Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation</li><li>Assist with stop payments, tracers, and exception resolution</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Serve as backup for the claims payment fulfillment specialist, maintaining operational readiness to assume responsibilities during absences, vacations, or staffing transitions while ensuring uninterrupted payment processing and SLA compliance</li><li>Support process improvements and special projects</li><li>Work within a collaborative team environment and support continuous process improvement</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h1><ul><li>2&ndash;4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or cash operations experience</li><li>Experience with high-volume transactions and deposits preferred</li><li>Exposure to accounts payable a plus</li><li>ERP system experience preferred</li><li>Intermediate Excel skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organization</li><li>Ability to manage repetitive, process-driven tasks</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow</li></ul></div>
