Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server/Counter Person, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the counter. This energetic role combines food service, customer interaction, and quick-paced food preparation to create a welcoming experience for every guest. You'll handle food orders, process transactions, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met&mdash;all while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere. If you thrive in fast environments and love engaging with people, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow within the food industry.Duties<ul><li>Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service.</li><li>Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, including basic food preparation tasks.</li><li>Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities.</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.</li><li>Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>Support kitchen staff during busy periods by managing front-of-house duties such as cashiering and customer service.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience in food service or quick service &amp; fast food restaurant environments is preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service are essential for success in this role.</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in transactions and order fulfillment.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is required.</li><li>Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations are necessary.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude to engage customers positively.
