Job Summary

Duties

• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service.
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, including basic food preparation tasks.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods by managing front-of-house duties such as cashiering and customer service.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in transactions and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is required.
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations are necessary.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude to engage customers positively.
