Responsibilities
Professional Nursing Care
<ul><li>Performs professional nursing assessments and develops individualized plans of care for patients undergoing imaging procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assesses patient condition, history, allergies, laboratory results, and procedural readiness prior to imaging exams.</li></ul>

Qualifications 

Education &amp; Experience
<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program required.</li></ul>

Education and Experience
<ul><li>The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
</li><li>Must be a minimum of 17 years of age.</li>
<li>Must be Certified or Register Medical Assistant through either (1) successful completion of a Certification Exam or (2) through successful completion of an approved two-year Medical Assistant Program and successful completion of a Certification Exam.</li>
<li>Previous medical office experience</li>
<li>The ability to speak and write Spanish is desired.</li>

Provides diagnostic evaluation of pulmonary function in patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
 
Responsibilities: 
Performs ordered pulmonary function and pulmonary stress testing. Monitors and evaluates patient response during and after testing. Documents and reports testing results.
 
Determines testing reference ranges and interprets results. Recognizes and corrects for invalid test results.
 
Prepares, maintains and calibrates pulmonary function testing equipment. Maintains adequate levels of supplies used for testing. Troubleshoots equipment problems and reports needed repairs/replacements.
 
Provides education and resources to patient and/or patient's family based on clinical implications.

As a Transport EMT, you will report to the Director of Transport (or designee). You will be under the supervision of the Medical Director. You will perform EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) procedures approved by the Advanced Life Support Committee and serves as a member of the Beacon Health System Transport Team.
Transport EMT Job Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive patient assessment, stabilization, monitoring, airway management, oxygen administration, and documentation of care and patient response.
<ul><li>Collaborates with physicians, nurses, paramedics, and referral facilities to develop and implement transport plans of care.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintains a safe and therapeutic transport environment, anticipating and managing potential risks.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Operates ambulance communication systems (two-way radio, GPS) and maintains updated routes, contact information, and transport maps.</li></ul>

Required Qualifications
<ul><li>The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Indiana or State EMS-approved EMT course, which meets the St. Joseph County EMS guidelines.</li>
<li>Current unrestricted Indiana or Michigan EMT Certification and current or previous National Registry to apply.</li>
<li>One year of previous experience as an EMT is preferred.</li>
<li>Must obtain and maintain both Indiana and Michigan EMT licenses.</li>
<li>Must obtain National Registry within one year of hire date.</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 with 3 years driving experience required.</li>
