Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a full-time Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care. We are committed to fostering professional growth and offering a rewarding work experience that emphasizes teamwork, infection control, and the latest dental technologies.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly with aseptic techniques.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.</li><li>Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality.</li><li>Support patients by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and providing post-treatment instructions with clear communication.</li><li>Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.</li><li>Collaborate with the dental team on administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and assisting with insurance or medical coding processes.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting, with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic technique.</li><li>Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft is a plus.</li><li>Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging devices confidently.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records and medical documentation standards.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.</li><li>Certification in chairside assisting or experience in chairside assisting is required.</li></ul>Join us to make a difference in patients&rsquo; lives through compassionate care and technical excellence!
