SUMMARY:We&rsquo;re looking for a highly creative Social Media Video Editor &amp; Content Creator to bring our content to life across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms.This role is responsible for editing high-performing, scroll-stopping video content and supporting on-set and in-office content capture. You&rsquo;ll work closely with the Content and Marketing teams to transform raw footage into engaging, platform-native content that drives views, engagement, and sales.If you understand pacing, hooks, and what makes people stop scrolling, this role is for you.RESPONSIBILITIES:Video Editing (Primary Focus)<ul><li>Edit high-volume short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts</li></ul>Content Capture &amp; Videography<ul><li>Assist in shooting content in-office and on-location (events, campaigns, activations)</li><li>Capture high-quality video footage optimized for social platforms</li><li>Support lighting, framing, and overall production quality</li></ul>Creative Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with Content Creators and Marketing team to execute creative concepts</li><li>Contribute ideas for improving content performance through editing and storytelling</li><li>Help refine content formats, pacing, and structure based on performance</li></ul>Platform &amp; Trend Awareness<ul><li>Stay up-to-date on TikTok and social media trends, editing styles, and formats</li><li>Bring fresh ideas for transitions, effects, and storytelling techniques</li><li>Continuously evolve editing style to stay relevant and competitive</li></ul>Copywriting Support (Bonus)<ul><li>Assist with writing captions, hooks, and on-screen text when needed</li><li>Help refine messaging to improve engagement and clarity</li><li>Ensure tone aligns with brand voice across content</li></ul>Performance Awareness<ul><li>Review content performance and apply learnings to future edits</li><li>Understand what drives retention, shares, and engagement</li><li>Cut, sequence, and enhance footage to maximize engagement, retention, and watch time</li><li>Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and trending elements to elevate content</li><li>Ensure all edits feel native to each platform and align with current trends</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>2+ years experience in video editing for social media (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)</li><li>Strong proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools</li><li>Basic videography skills (shooting, framing, lighting)</li><li>Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and short-form storytelling</li><li>Experience with motion graphics, captions, and sound design</li><li>Copywriting skills are a strong plus</li><li>Highly creative with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage high-volume, fast-turn content</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $24.00 per hourWork Location: In person
