You&rsquo;ll work directly with the Director of Engineering to:<ul><li>Build core backend systems (Node.js / TypeScript / Python)</li></ul><ul><li>Lead architectural decisions and design scalable systems</li></ul><ul><li>Help hire, mentor, and shape the first 5&ndash;10 engineers</li></ul><ul><li>Build tools, automation, and services powering our global trading platform</li></ul>⸻Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design &amp; build scalable backend services and APIs</li></ul><ul><li>Lead backend architecture and technical decisions</li></ul><ul><li>Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence</li></ul><ul><li>Take full ownership of features from idea &rarr; production</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate daily with UAE engineering &amp; product teams</li></ul>⸻✅ Must-Have Experience<ul><li>7+ years in software engineering (backend focus)</li></ul><ul><li>Strong with Node.js / TypeScript / Python</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with distributed systems &amp; databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)</li></ul><ul><li>Proven ability to design architecture &amp; ship production systems</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent English communication</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: E&pound;120,000.00 - E&pound;180,000.00 per month
