Principal Software Engineer

You’ll work directly with the Director of Engineering to:

• Build core backend systems (Node.js / TypeScript / Python)

• Lead architectural decisions and design scalable systems

• Help hire, mentor, and shape the first 5–10 engineers

• Build tools, automation, and services powering our global trading platform

• Design & build scalable backend services and APIs

• Lead backend architecture and technical decisions

• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence

• Take full ownership of features from idea → production

• Collaborate daily with UAE engineering & product teams

✅ Must-Have Experience

• 7+ years in software engineering (backend focus)

• Strong with Node.js / TypeScript / Python

• Experience with distributed systems & databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)

• Proven ability to design architecture & ship production systems

• Excellent English communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: E£120,000.00 - E£180,000.00 per month
