 What You'll Do
 
 
 
 As our
 
 Estimator
 
 , you'll be the cornerstone of every project's financial foundation. Your responsibilities will include:

 <li>
 Preparing comprehensive estimates and quantity takeoffs for custom homes using Buildertrend Takeoff or similar tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborating with designers, architects, and engineers to ensure all custom design details are captured accurately in project budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partnering closely with project management and construction teams to deliver precise, timely, and realistic budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sourcing and analyzing bids from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project scope and cost accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting in developing and maintaining internal price books and historical cost data to optimize future projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring budget variances throughout each project, identifying opportunities to reduce cost slippage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting the creation of client-facing budget reports and detailed scopes of work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Offering value-engineering solutions without compromising design integrity.

 What We're Looking For
 
 
 
 We're seeking an
 
 Estimator
 
 who brings:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven experience in custom home estimating, familiarity with infill or scatter lot building is a strong plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing, especially for high-end residential projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Unmatched attention to detail, you notice what others miss and spot cost-saving opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with takeoff tools like Buildertrend Takeoff (preferred) or similar platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and a comfort level with cloud-based platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with ease.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 A proactive, team-oriented mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3 or more years of experience in residential construction estimating or project management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with construction management software like Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
