Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods, ensuring a high level of customer service while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while on the road.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans and buses, to transport passengers or goods.</li><li>Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing support as needed, particularly for those requiring Paratransit services.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules, delays, and route changes.</li><li>Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring that all items are securely loaded and unloaded.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.</li><li>Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in driving various types of vehicles, including vans and buses.</li><li>Familiarity with Paratransit services is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading cargo.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers.</li><li>Previous experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver is advantageous.</li><li>A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.</li></ul>Join our team as a Transport Driver where your commitment to safety and customer satisfaction will make a difference in the lives of our passengers!Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourAbility to Commute:<ul><li>Sterling Heights, MI 48310 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Sterling Heights, MI 48310: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>100% (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
