Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods, ensuring a high level of customer service while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while on the road.

Duties

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans and buses, to transport passengers or goods.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing support as needed, particularly for those requiring Paratransit services.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules, delays, and route changes.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring that all items are securely loaded and unloaded.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

• Proven experience in driving various types of vehicles, including vans and buses.
• Familiarity with Paratransit services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
