Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves supporting the development and care of infants in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, have reliability and be committed to fostering a positive learning atmosphere for our youngest learners.Duties<ul><li>Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans tailored for infants.</li><li>Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants as needed.</li><li>Support infants&rsquo; physical development through supervised tummy time, crawling, and other motor activities.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.</li><li>Observe and document developmental milestones and behavior patterns to inform teaching strategies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and needs.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving best practices.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.</li><li>Knowledge of infant care routines, including feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules.</li><li>Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.</li><li>CPR training is preferred, can provide.</li><li>Must pass background check and fingerprinting.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs is desirable.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills to create a nurturing and organized environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents.</li><li>Experience with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.</li><li>Passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a safe, inclusive space for infants to thrive.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
