Job Overview Benchmark Engineering &amp; Land Surveying, LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Drafting Designer or Civil Engineer to join our team that will assist in performing engineering calculations and drafting for a variety of land development projects. We ensure that all our clients receive excellent care and attention.Responsibilities<ul><li>Work with Project Manager to assist with the design of engineering projects on behalf of the client.</li><li>Draft a variety of civil engineering construction plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D.</li><li>Complete grading designs to meet engineering and ADA standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D.</li><li>Perform drainage calculations to determine stormwater detention/retention requirements.</li><li>Create drainage reports, storm water maintenance plans, SWPPPs, etc., as required.</li><li>Review and ensure plan conformance with city and county design standards and codes.</li><li>Communicate proficiently with designers, clients, municipalities, and team members.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>1-year preferred of civil engineering drafting and design experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D</li><li>A degree or certification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred but not required</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Proven ability to multitask and work well in team environment.</li><li>Self-driven with an ability to work efficiently</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about transforming ideas into precise visual representations that shape the future of infrastructure and design!
