Engineering Drafting Designer/ Civil Engineer

Job Overview
Benchmark Engineering & Land Surveying, LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Drafting Designer or Civil Engineer to join our team that will assist in performing engineering calculations and drafting for a variety of land development projects. Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager to assist with the design of engineering projects on behalf of the client.
• Draft a variety of civil engineering construction plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Complete grading designs to meet engineering and ADA standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform drainage calculations to determine stormwater detention/retention requirements.
• Create drainage reports, storm water maintenance plans, SWPPPs, etc., as required.
• Review and ensure plan conformance with city and county design standards and codes.
• Communicate proficiently with designers, clients, municipalities, and team members.

Experience

• 1-year preferred of civil engineering drafting and design experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• A degree or certification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to multitask and work well in team environment.
• Self-driven with an ability to work efficiently

Compensation: Based upon experience.
