</b></p><p>Main responsibility is to answer and direct telephone calls in a polite and informative manner in a fast-paced environment. Process all inter-communication through multi-line, unlimited <b>extension switchboard.
</b></p><p><b>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
</b></p><div><ul><li>Answer and delegate incoming calls.
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform receptionist responsibilities- greet visitors, receive packages
</li></ul><ul><li>Perform clerical duties <b>.
</b></li></ul><ul><li>Open/Close switchboard.
</li></ul><ul><li>Make Public Announcements <b>.
</b></li></ul><ul><li>Receive and delegate calls regarding resident appointments.
</li></ul><ul><li>Check telephone bills for personal long-distance calls.
</li></ul></div><p><b>MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 </b></p><p>High School Diploma or GED
</p><p><b>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
</b></p><ul><li>Must have general computer and keyboarding knowledge.
</li><li>Possess knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment.
</li><li>Ability to speak English in a clear, pleasant voice and manner.
</li><li>Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.
</li><li>Ability to read and sort mail.
</li><li>Ability to hear and respond with tact and courtesy to a wide variety of situations (including residents, visitors, and staff requests) in both routine and emergency situations.
</li><li>Have a pleasant and courteous personality.
</li><li>Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident and employee information.
</li></ul><p><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
</b></p><ul><li>Ability to sit long periods of time.
</li><li>Good hearing and speaking ability.
</li><li>Ability to handle stress.
</li><li>Physical presence in the office is required.
