Bonus points if you live local!Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival, and seat guests efficiently to optimize flow during busy brunch hours</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bartenders</li><li>Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness</li><li>Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols</li><li>Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or upscale brunch settings</li><li>Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS; familiarity with Resy for reservations management is a plus</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively</li><li>Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy brunch hours without compromising service quality</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques</li><li>Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions</li><li>Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations</li><li>Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a bonus but not required; a passion for food industry knowledge is appreciated</li></ul>Join us as a Server for Brunch and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality.
